Education coupled to an optimal medical care is an important mandate from the University of Zurich. As one of the leading regional anaesthesia clinics we have the responsibility for the education and training of students, residents, fellows and for the postgraduate education of certified anaesthetists.

Alain Borgeat, MD was elected Professor in 2001 by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich. Since then he is responsible for teaching regional anaesthesia and for its development. He gives lectures on anaesthesia and analgesia for the students of the Medical School of the University Zürich and his clinic is a popular institution among students for all kind of hands on training. Professor Borgeat and his team are very proud to contribute to the education of young colleagues.
