Research and Student Projects
We take a multi-disciplinary and multi-scale approach to understanding musculoskeletal disease and healing.
Teaching and student projects: We are jointly affiliated with the University and ETH Zurich. We host students from both institutions as well as other universities.
Student projects: We support three to four student projects each semester. The projects range from experimental joint biomechanics projects that are performed in close collaboration with clinicians, to experimental and computational cell and tissue mechanics projects. These diverse projects generally require a strong background in mechanics, physics, or mathematics.
