Education coupled with optimal medical care is an important mission, one which was entrusted to us by the University of Zurich. As a leading regional anaesthesia clinic, we are responsible for educating and training students, residents and fellows and providing postgraduate education for qualified anaesthetists.

Alain Borgeat MD was elected Professor by University of Zurichs Faculty of Medicine in 2001. Since then, he has been in charge of the teaching and development of regional anaesthesia. He delivers lectures on anaesthesia and analgesia to the students of the University of Zurichs Faculty of Medicine and his clinic is popular with students for all kinds of hands-on training. Professor Borgeat and his team are very proud to contribute to educating young colleagues.
