The Chair in Rehabilitation Engineering is jointly held by the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (Automatic Control Laboratory) and the University of Zurich (Balgrist University Hospital).

This group aims to develop robot-assisted rehabilitation devices for patients with brain or spinal injuries, basing its work on biomechanical models and simulations and virtual reality.
