The Department of Physical Medicine and Rheumatology evaluates and treats both outpatients and inpatients.
Diagnosis and therapy covers all non-surgical aspects of musculoskeletal conditions, whether they be inflammatory rheumatic, degenerative rheumatic or soft tissue rheumatic diseases. The department holds an interdisciplinary pain consultation and an osteoporosis consultation and has its own physiotherapy department. We are involved in close interdisciplinary exchange with the other disciplines at Balgrist University Hospital with a view to ensuring that our patients treatment is as complete as possible.
