- Equipped with an environmental control system (JAMES).
- Room service, towels and linens are provided.
- Equipped with telephone (calls to the expense of the guest), internet and TV (both included).
- All Balgrist hospital services, such as medical care and therapies are available, but need a reservation in advance and a doctors prescription.
- Balgrist Residence does not provide any medical or nursing emergency services.
- The apartment is not available for permanent residency.
- Patients of Balgrist University Hospital are given precedence.
- Meals can be provided by Balgrist at the guest’s expense.

Location and premises:
- Balgrist is situated approximately 10 tram minutes away from downtown. Cobra trams (every other tram) are handicapped accessible.
- Taxis can stop directly at the entry of Balgrist Residence.
- Covered handicapped parking is available (please ask) and situated directly at the entry of the residence.
- The apartment as well as the surrounding area meet accessibility standards.
