Events and conferences

Our events aim to transfer the latest knowledge and skills to medical students, specialists and other medical experts without delay.

In addition to our normal lectures and courses, we also offer various formats for further and professional training, depending on the time available and the amount of detail required:

  • Short lectures by guest speakers
  • Half-day ‘orthopaedics update’ sessions on a specific topic
  • Workshops / courses on specific extremities
  • Radiology courses

Apart from the detailed course description below, we have planned the following events for 2012

Interactive MR-Seminar for Clinicians, module I: lower extremities June 14, 2012

After last year's success we are pleased to announce the first of two modules of the MR-Seminar especially for clinicians that deal with issues of the musculoskeletal system: Orthopedists, Rheumatologists, Sports Physicians and General Practitioners. Main topics will be:

  • Technique in MR
  • Indication for body imaging
  • Electronic image data
  • Clinical cases

We offer the possibility to attend only the "theory" block in the morning or only the seminars in the afternoon.

18th Course in Shoulder Surgery Balgrist October 4-5, 2012

The Balgrist Shoulder Course is already in its 18th edition in 2012:

Patienten mit Querschnittlähmung - Wissenswertes und Ideen für die ambulante Physiotherapie

Die Veranstaltung gibt Einsicht in den physiotherapeutischen Behandlungsablauf von Querschnittpatienten. Die klinische Vielfalt und relevante Therapieansätze werden anhand von Fallvorstellungen erläutert.
