Our inpatient nursing care

Our inpatient nursing care focusses on orthopaedics, rheumatology, spinal cord injury, and rehabilitation. We look after patients in a highly professional manner, and tailor nursing care to meet their individual needs.

Orthopaedics and rheumatology

Nursing care around the time of operation and the different types of pain therapy are major aspects of orthopaedic surgery. We also focus on the support and alleviation of rheumatological diseases. Discussions with patients are also part of our routine work. Close cooperation with all the professionals involved in patient care is of great importance. Nursing care at Balgrist University Hospital is ISO certified.
