Dr. sc. Corina Schütt heads the Science, Translation & Innovation Hub and the office of the Scientific Steering Board. In her role, she coordinates the strategy defined by the Scientific Steering Board and hospital management for the further development of research and teaching at Balgrist, the interaction among the various units and infrastructures, and the interface with the academic community.

Dr. sc. Flora Vajda, Head of Innovation & Partnerships, is responsible for stakeholder management with internal and external partners, including companies (medtech, tech, and other industries), professional societies, and industry partners. At OR-X, she serves as an advisor in the area of industry partnerships. She is also responsible for public relations and science communication with the broader public.

Dr. sc. Sebastiano Caprara is the Managing Director of Balgrist Campus AG. He is responsible for the campus’s research infrastructure as well as for one of its research platforms, and ensures that these meet the requirements of forward-looking research projects. In his role as Innovation Manager and Head of the Digital Medicine Unit at Balgrist University Hospital, he also serves as a liaison to clinical operations, thereby bridging the gap between the needs of research and the possibilities of the clinical environment.
