Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy aims to promote, maintain and/or restore a person’s capacity to act.
Employing various methods and devices, occupational therapists focus on specific aspects related to the client and his or her surroundings. They relate to the needs, values and goals of their clients, taking into account the cultural background, environmental conditions, and resources. They observe aspects of professional ethics and quality assurance, and are committed to the development, propagation, and effective use of evidence-based knowledge.
