In our Chiropractic Medicine Clinic, patient care is integrated with teaching and research, allowing us to treat pain affecting your back or entire musculoskeletal system holistically and with the highest level of expertise. As part of the University Spine Center (UWZH), we coordinate your treatment on an interdisciplinary basis if necessary and provide individual support on the path to recovery and healing.  

Our department in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich plays an important role in developing and shaping chiropractic medicine in Switzerland and beyond, while our own research department investigates the causes and treatment options for back pain.

Treatment procedure

All our patients have one thing in common: they suffer from ailments and problems with their musculoskeletal system, particularly in their back. Spinal problems often cause pain that radiates to the neck and head, or to the arms and legs. This type of pain is often hard to describe, which

is why we look for the location, extent and nature of your pain, and in particular its cause. On the one hand, we tackle these issues with the most promising chiropractic treatment options; on the other, we also require your active participation to achieve lasting results—for example, through targeted exercises, active physiotherapy or relaxation techniques.
