The Department of General Internal Medicine assesses and looks after our patients in hospital before major surgery. It is also responsible for postoperative medical care on the wards.
Assessing and looking after inpatients with relevant concomitant diseases before major surgical procedures and providing follow-up care in the department.
Implementing diagnostic and therapeutic measures such as: blood tests, ECGs, spirometry General medical activities (vaccinations).
Responsible for all aspects of medication provision and safety.
