Patrick Klein is Head of Clinical Psychology at the Spinal Cord Injury Center at Balgrist University Hospital. He studied medicine at the Philipps University of Marburg (Germany) and the University of Rostock (Germany). Patrick Klein worked in intensive care medicine at the Trauma Hospital Berlin and completed his specialist training at the Psychiatric University Clinic Rostock, the Wenckebach Hospital Berlin and the Psychiatric University Clinic Zurich. His psychotherapeutic focus is on cognitive-behavioral therapy with elements of dialectical-behavioral therapy and the treatment of trauma-related disorders. At Balgrist University Hospital, Patrick Klein works both as an inpatient psychiatrist and psychotherapist for patients undergoing rehabilitation at the Center for Paraplegia and as an outpatient at the Outpatient Clinic for Neurology and Paraplegia. Patrick Klein also provides a psychiatric consultation service for the entire Balgrist University Hospital.
